Brown Dog Holdings, LLC, was established in 2000 by Syed Ahmed and Karen Mustafa when they first entered the real estate investment market.
Over the course of a few years, Karen and Ahmed owned and managed 8 apartments. They also obtained their Real Estate licensesin the early 2000's and for many years worked at agencies including Nothnagle and Hunt Realty. Evenutally, Ahmed became a Real Estate Broker and opened Brown Dog Realty, which still operates on a limited basis for real estate consutling or limited transactions for friends and family.
Ahmed also consults with companies raning in size from start-ups to those generating over $100-150 million in sales. His experience in Global Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, New Product Development and Launch have made him a valuable advisor to many organizations.
In 2022, Ahmed and his oldest son Zachariah earned their Merchant Mariner's credentials for 50 GRT vessels in Near Shore Waters, with a towing endorsement.
